AT Award Finalist 2022!!
Chartered Architectural Technologist Patricia Mulvey has been announced as Finalist in the AT Awards 2022. The stunning new build dwelling known as Ceres, is a beach front property in Rush, North County Dublin.
The Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology is hosted by CIAT, the global qualifying body for Architectural Technologists.
The dwelling is large but compact, energy efficient, modern family home and takes full advantage of the south facing aspect and views to the rear overlooking the Irish Sea and Lambay Island.
The innovatively designed two storey, square shaped dwelling follows the principles of Passive House design. The key was to provide a nearly zero energy dwelling, highly insulated and efficient in terms of heat demand, while minimising overheating and ensuring comfortable indoor air conditions throughout the year.
