New Dwelling in Kinsealy

The Client appointed Brackfield Consulting after they obtained a grant of Full Planning Permission for a new detached 4 bedroom dormer bungalow in North County Dublin.

Brackfield Consulting acted as Lead Consultant during the construction of the property, including submission of the online commencement notice to the BCMS website and full compliance with the new Building Control (Amendment) Regulations 2014 (BCAR).

This A-rated dwelling is built to the highest of standards in terms of energy performance. An air source heat pump is the main source of space and water heating, a rain water harvesting system and waste water treatment plant were installed along with triple glazed windows throughout.

This project was constructed using 350mm cavity walls, precast concrete planks at 1st floor level and ties to prevent the possibility of any rotation of the dwarf 1st floor walls due to traditional cut timber roof spread. A feature stone external leaf was applied over two storeys at the entrance of the property.
